No Republicans Were Harmed In The Production of This . . .

On Tuesday Night the RNC showed a 'stirring patriotic montage' which included the image of an Iraq Veteran's funeral.

THE FOOTAGE IS FAKE

"But CBS News found that the footage of the ‘funeral’ and soldiers is what is called ‘stock’ footage. The soldiers were actors and the funeral scene was from a one-day film shoot, produced in June. No real soldiers were used during production. "

"The footage, sold by stock-film house Getty Images was produced by a commercial filmmaker in Chicago. Both Getty and the production company, Mr. Big Films, confirmed that the footage was shot on spec and sold to the Republican National Committee."

“What it does reveal is a serious lack of understanding and a lack of personal connection to the military,” said Paul Rieckhoff, Executive Director of the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America.
Rieckhoff, who is at the convention with a contingent of veterans added that a video tribute to Medal of Honor winner Michael Monsoor, a Navy Seal killed in Iraq, shown on Tuesday night, used combat video that appeared to him and several other veterans of the Iraq war to have been staged.

These folks consider the 4154 dead as props, and the 38,000 Wounded as mere extras.

The White House warned the media on Tuesday not to "exploit" the pregnancy of Republican vice presidential hopeful Sarah Palin's teenage daughter Bristol, calling it a "private family matter."

"The president of the United States (George W. Bush) believes that this is a matter that this family has chosen to work through together," and "believes that this is a private family matter," said spokeswoman Dana Perino.

They think he's a kid. They being Pelosi, Reid, Schumer and the rest of our vaunted Leadership. Being the aristocrats they are, can not help but see him as some idealistic, naive puppet to be manipulated any ol way they want him to be .

Obama knows this. Further, I now feel his going along with FISA was him convincing them of this, setting the hook as it were.

Trust me, this is not some bizarre denial twist to rationalize his betrayal on this vitally important issue. But this alarm in my gut tells me he's up to something - maybe just his lulling them and keeping them off balance, maybe a need to convince influential members he was one of them, but he's got something in mind, this is to serve him down the road - whether the short road to November or after January I don't know
